The Dublin Region Homeless Executive is provided by Dublin City Council as the lead local authority in the response to homelessness in Dublin
and adopts a shared service approach across South Dublin County Council, Fingal County Council and Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council.

Viva House, Blanchardstown (Emergency Service for Women and Children)

Viva House, a new refuge in Blanchardstown, will officially launch on Monday, 13th September in a local hotel in the Blanchardstown area. A half-day information and awareness-raising seminar will take place to mark the occasion from 9.30am-1.30pm. Further details to follow. For now please save the date in your diaries.
Viva House will open in Summer 2010. It will provide a 24-hour emergency service to women and their children suffering domestic and family violence. There are eight self-contained apartments and a large communal building as well as a well-equipped play area and children's and young people's space.
