Extension to Cold Weather Initiative

Mar 30, 2010

Due to adverse weather conditions for the forthcoming period, the Cold Weather Initiative*, which is being delivered through Cedar House and operated by the Salvation Army will be extended from 31st March until April 28th 2010.

All staff in homeless services will be notified, however it is important that service users who may be in contact with outreach teams or day services are informed of the extension period.

*The Cold Weather Initiative provides accommodation for entrenched rough sleepers who are not in regular contact with homeless services and who are sleeping rough during very cold periods.
