Ana Liffey Recruiting For Project Manager and Project Worker

The Ana Liffey Drug Project now seeks to recruit the following posts:

PROJECT MANAGER -12 month contract (35 hours per week)

Salary: €48,157

Working as part of the Project Management Group, and reporting to the Director, you will play a key role
in the day-to-day management and development of the Multi-Disciplinary Project Team. Committed to
working within the principles of a 'low threshold - harm reduction' model, you will be responsible for the
effective delivery of Ana Liffey's drug services. Requirements for the post include:

  • A minimum of two years' experience of working with people who have problem substance
  • use issues in a low threshold environment. [Essential]
  • A relevant third level qualification [Essential]
  • Experience of managing / supervising service delivery in a low threshold, open access
  • environment [Desirable]
  • A recognised Management qualification [Desirable]
  • A qualification in Addiction Studies[Desirable]
  • A full, clean driving license with two years qualification [Desirable]

PROJECT WORKER - 3 month contract (35 hours per week)

Salary: €35,945

A panel will be created which will be used to fill similar vacant posts which may arise over the next twelve months.

Working as part of the Multi-disciplinary Project Team within an open access environment, the role of the
Project Worker is to be responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of services to people who are
actively involved with or affected by problem substance use. Working within 'low threshold - harm
reduction' principles of service delivery, duties will include crisis intervention, case management, and
assertive outreach. Requirements for the post include:

  • A minimum of two years' experience of working and/or training in the area of addiction [Essential].
  • A relevant third level qualification [Essential]
  • A qualification in Addiction Studies[Desirable]
  • A full, clean driving license with two years qualification [Desirable].
