Focus Ireland are now inviting applications for their 2010/2011 Community Service Volunteer Programme.

The Community Service Volunteer Programme is a Graduate Recruitment Programme which has been running for over 15 years offering opportunities to develop skills and expertise in the area of social and community work. This programme is particularly suited to Social Care Graduates (although not exclusive) intererested in gaining experience prior to returning to complete the Masters in Social Science.

The programme will run from September to August and there are 12 placements available. The closing date for applications will be Friday 12th February 2010 and successful candidates will be invited to the next stage of the recruitment process which will be a written assessment in the first two weeks of March 2010 with interview being held in April 2010.

Candidates should be familiar with the Homeless Agency's Competency Framework document to help throughout the recruitment process.
